Terms & Conditions

These terms outline the basis on which Agri Genius Exports provides website information, quotations and export coordination services. They cover website use, how quotations become contracts, specification and inspection practice, documentation responsibilities, claims and limitation of liability.

Scope of Business

Agri Genius Exports operates as an agricultural commodity trading and export coordination house. Our role covers strategic sourcing, mill and processing partnerships, quality verification, export documentation and container logistics for international buyers.

We are not a manufacturer and we do not operate processing facilities of our own. We are also not a marketplace: every enquiry is handled directly by our trade desk, and every shipment is executed under a contract between the buyer and Agri Genius Exports or a nominated supplier named in that contract.

Nothing on this website creates an agency, partnership or joint venture between a visitor and Agri Genius Exports.

Website Use

Website content is provided for general commercial information. Commodity descriptions, grade tables, packaging formats, container loadability figures, transit times and documentation lists are indicative reference values compiled from ordinary trade practice.

Actual values are confirmed per shipment in the applicable contract and in the documents issued for that shipment. Where a figure on this page differs from the executed contract, the contract prevails.

You may read, print and share this content for your own procurement evaluation. You may not republish it as your own, scrape it at scale, or present our specifications as those of another supplier.

Quotations & Offers

Quotations issued in response to an enquiry are indicative until confirmed in writing by our trade desk. They remain subject to origin availability, specification confirmation, inspection outcome, container and vessel space, and freight conditions at the time of booking.

Unless the offer states otherwise, a quotation is valid for the validity period written on it. Prices quoted on FOB, CIF or CFR terms cover only the elements set out in the relevant incoterm; destination charges, duties and demurrage at the discharge port are for the buyer's account.

An order is confirmed only when a sales contract or proforma invoice is signed and the agreed payment instrument is in place.

Specifications, Sampling & Inspection

Final specifications, tolerances, moisture limits, broken percentages and admixture allowances are agreed contractually per shipment. Agricultural produce is a natural product: reasonable variation within contracted tolerance is normal and does not constitute a defect.

Independent third-party inspection is arranged where the buyer or the destination market requires it. Where the buyer nominates an inspection agency, the certificate issued by that agency at the load port is treated as final for quality and weight unless the contract states otherwise.

Pre-shipment samples represent the lot as a type sample, not an exact duplicate of every bag in the container.

Packaging, Marking & Shipment

Packaging format, bag weight, liner type, palletisation and container stuffing pattern are agreed before booking, and shipping marks are printed to the buyer's written instruction.

Shipment windows are estimates based on the vessel schedule available at booking. Carrier delays, port congestion, rollovers and blank sailings are outside our control and do not by themselves constitute a breach of contract.

Documentation & Compliance

Export documentation is prepared in line with the agreed incoterm and the requirements of the destination market: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate and any additional certificate named in the contract or letter of credit.

The buyer remains responsible for import licensing, product registration, labelling requirements, duties, taxes and any other destination-market compliance obligation. Buyers should confirm import requirements with their own customs broker before contracting.

Where documentary requirements are communicated to us late or incorrectly, any resulting amendment cost or delay is for the buyer's account.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are agreed per contract and are typically an irrevocable letter of credit at sight, documents against payment, or an advance percentage with the balance against shipping documents.

Bank charges outside India are for the buyer's account unless the contract states otherwise. We publish our banking details only through signed contract documents; always verify payment instructions with us by telephone before remitting funds.

Claims & Disputes

Quality or weight claims must be raised in writing, with supporting independent survey evidence, within the claim period stated in the contract and before the goods are processed, blended or resold.

We will review any properly documented claim in good faith and work toward a commercial resolution. Disputes that cannot be resolved commercially are settled under the governing law and forum named in the executed contract.

Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including crop failure, government export restriction, port closure, strike, war, sanctions, epidemic or extreme weather. Affected obligations are suspended for the duration of the event.

Limitation of Liability

Liability arising from website content is excluded to the extent permitted by applicable law. Website information does not constitute a warranty, an offer capable of acceptance, or advice on the suitability of a commodity for a particular use.

Contractual liability is governed exclusively by the executed sales contract for each shipment and, in any case, is limited to the invoice value of the goods concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or loss of onward contract.
